• 13 cards are dealt to each player
• Players must form at least 2 sequences, one of which must be pure

• Jokers can substitute for any card in impure sequences or sets

Points Rummy Rules

Points Rummy is the fastest variant — each game takes 5-10 minutes.

• Pre-decided rupee value per point (e.g., ₹1/point)
• Winner scores 0 points; losers pay their penalty points × rupee value
• Face cards and Aces carry 10 points; number cards carry face value
• Maximum penalty is 80 points

Pool Rummy Rules

Pool Rummy is an elimination-based variant — great for longer sessions.

• 101 Pool: Players are eliminated when they reach 101 points
• 201 Pool: Players eliminated at 201 points
• The last player remaining wins the entire entry pool
• Players can rejoin by paying the entry fee again if they have chips

Deals Rummy Rules

Deals Rummy is played over a fixed number of deals.

• Players are given equal chips at the start
• Winner of each deal takes chips from losers
• Player with most chips after all deals wins
• Typically played as 2-deal or 3-deal format

Dropping Rules

Players can drop out of a game to minimize losses:

• First Drop: Leave before playing any turn — 20 point penalty
